Virtua is a MarTech strategy and digital intelligence consultancy operated by Ricardo Mendivil ("Virtua", "we", "us", or "our"). We help brands, media companies, and agencies build and measure digital ecosystems.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly or that is generated through the services you authorize:

Account information: name, email address, and login credentials when you create an account on our platforms.
Social media data: when you connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram), YouTube, or other social accounts through OAuth, we access metrics such as follower counts, reach, impressions, and engagement rates — only the scopes you explicitly authorize.
Usage data: pages visited, features used, and timestamps within our dashboard products.
Contact data: any information you send us via email or contact forms.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect solely to deliver and improve our services:

Provide social intelligence dashboards and performance reports to you and your authorized team.
Generate AI-assisted analytics and strategic recommendations.
Sync your social media metrics on a scheduled basis for historical tracking.
Send service-related communications (no unsolicited marketing without your consent).

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram) Integration

Our data products may integrate with the Meta platform through the official Meta API. When you connect your Facebook or Instagram account, we request only the minimum permissions necessary to provide the analytics features you use.

We access your page or account metrics (impressions, reach, followers) in read-only mode.
We do not post, publish, or alter any content on your behalf without your explicit action.
You can revoke access at any time through your Facebook App Settings.
Access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared with third parties.

Meta's own privacy policy governs the data you share directly with Facebook and Instagram. We encourage you to review it at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Canada (OVHcloud) and is protected by:

AES-256-GCM encryption for all stored access tokens and credentials.
HTTPS (TLS 1.2+) for all data in transit.
Access controls that restrict data to authorized personnel only.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time (see below).

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights:

Cookies

We use session cookies strictly for authentication purposes on our dashboard products. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Third-party services (Google Fonts, Meta API) may set their own cookies subject to their respective privacy policies.
